A mid-century Horstman “Pluslite” anglepoise lamp with integrated folding magnifying lens, retaining its original maker’s badge to the head.
Of classic industrial form, the lamp features a twin-arm articulated mechanism with counterbalance springs, allowing smooth and precise adjustment. The rectangular metal shade houses a concealed magnifier which folds neatly into the underside when not in use — a practical and characterful detail typical of workshop and draughtsman’s lighting of the period.
Finished in its original pale grey paint with honest signs of age and use, giving it a pleasing utilitarian patina. Raised on its original weighted base.
