TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Prices are exclusive of delivery and shipping. For all orders, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required and the balance prior to despatch. For overseas orders pro-forma payment is required prior to their removal from the vendors premises or the appointed shipping agents premises. All goods are sold subject to the understanding that title does not pass to the purchaser until the goods have been paid for in full.
Responsibility for the safety and security of goods pass to the purchaser as soon as the goods are removed from the vendors premises, and the purchaser will indemnify the vendor against all liability howsoever arising after such removal.
We are happy to offer our customers a refund or exchange on all items. As part of our returns policy we must be informed, either by e-mail or telephone, the notice to return an item within 48 hours from the date of delivery. Returned goods must be delivered to us within 7-14 days (unless otherwise agreed) and must be received in the same condition as originally sold. Credits notes are valid for six months.
If you simply change your mind or decide that the item is not to your expectations, then we are pleased to offer a full refund on the items excluding shipping costs. Return postal, shipping or courier charges are incurred at the purchasers own expense. All initial shipping costs, including packing and insurance are non-refundable.
Items damaged in transit must be documented (i.e photographed) on delivery and e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours. All the original shipment wrap and packaging must be kept in order to process a successful compensation claim. Please enquire for further details.
We can arrange nationwide delivery and worldwide shipping with specialist furniture couriers if the purchaser does not wish to. Costs must be covered by the purchaser. As we have no storage facility we strongly recommend that goods are collected within 5 working day of purchase. Once purchased goods are left on the Blighty premises at the owner’s risk and storage will be charged after two weeks.
While delivery can be arranged on behalf of purchaser to transport goods ordered from the vendors premises, the carrier does so as a contractor of the purchaser, not the vendor, whether the cost is invoiced by the vendor, or by the carrier. Any disputes concerning carriage are therefore to be conducted by the purchaser with the carrier, and the vendor accepts no liability arising out of the appointment of such contractor. Items damaged in transit must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of the goods with photographic proof and e-mailed to email@example.com.

Many of our products for sale have been restored to, or in some cases preserved in, a good saleable condition. However, due the nature of antiques items all products are subject to signs of use and age related wear. All goods are sold as seen at our premises. While we may supply photographs, measurements, catalogues and drawings of goods, these items are for identification and reference only, purchasers are advised to examine the goods as to their condition, dimensions and quality, before purchase, and the vendor gives no warranty or guarantee in respect thereof.
Every effort is made to ensure that all product images appear as realistic as possible. However, due to the constraints and variations of digital reproduction we cannot guarantee an exact colour depiction. Every care is made to ensure that our descriptions and measurements are as accurate as possible, however some variations may occur.
We offer additional photos and condition reports by request for every item listed on our website, all of which are available via e-mail or telephone.
