A Pair Of 19Th Century Wall Cabinets.

£650.00

A fine and unusual pair of late 19th-century pitch pine wall cabinets, retaining their original warm honey-coloured finish and displaying the distinctive grain for which pitch pine is renowned. Each cabinet features an attractive open shelved superstructure with pierced fretwork gallery, above a central bank of three graduating drawers, all with decorative geometric inlaid detailing and turned wooden knobs.

The lower section is enclosed by a pair of panelled cupboard doors opening to useful storage, the cabinets standing on shaped apron bases with decorative cut-out detailing. The combination of practical design and restrained Arts & Crafts influence.
