19Th Century Aesthetic Movement Dressing Table.

£950.00

An extremely good 19th century Aesthetics movement dressing table. constructed from ash with polychrome decoration, standing on four brass castors with four drawers each with gilded  brass handles,  the top section of the dressing table has a detachable swivel mirror with four turned finials. On each side of the mirror are two gilded panels depicting cherubs playing musical instruments.

We believe this dressing table was made by Collier &. Pluckett from Warwick  England circa 1880 where Ambrose Heal was an apprentice Collier & Plucknett upholsters and cabinet-makers and decorators by appointment to Her Majesty.
