19Th Century Anglo-Indian Lacquer Dressing Mirror.

A rare and rather beautiful  Anglo Indian dressing mirror examples of this type of furniture made in Dera Ismail Khan a town in Punjab (presently in Pakistan) from second half of the 19Th century, the work is distinguished by a naskshi lacquered ground incised with floral designs and inlaid with mercury rings to which are applied serrated and pieced circles of ivory.

standing on a turned three leg stand which unscrews so the mirror can be transported.
