A rare late 18th to early 19th century West Country tavern table of exceptional character and authenticity. The X-frame base is made from ash, beautifully shaped legs by hand using a spokeshave, while the top is formed from two solid oak planks with softly rounded corners. Displaying a wonderfully dry patina, the table remains in completely original, untouched condition, retaining all the charm and integrity of its period craftsmanship.
