A truly remarkable piece of social history. A 1930s diorama of a suburban terraced house before and after the out break of the Second World War. One house titled “tranquility ” 1939 with a beautiful tranquil garden with flowers and trees, the other side the house is entitled “Resilience 1941” with a Anderson shelter and veg patch growing in the front garden. The diorama is set in a beautiful maple frame and a simple box construction with old paper covering.
