Early 19Th Century Articulated Lay Figure.

A large early 19th century, circa 1820-1830, articulated lay figure, most probably Parisian. This beautiful lay figure has the most incredible colour and patina, constructed from pine with traditional ball joint limbs and torso. An exquisitely carved face with fantastic detail on the eyebrows and dimple on the chin. Standing over 1 metre tall, in remarkably good condition for it’s age.
