A Pair Of Early 19Th Century Folk Art Portraits.


A fantastic pair of naive folk art portraits of two young gentlemen. Dating from the first half of the 19th century, the water colours are housed in their original mahogany frames and written on the back of each painting is information about the subjects, “James Baker Sheil aged 8 and William Stewart Sheil’ aged 10, The paintings originate from Ireland.
