A near pair of early 20th century Hatherley patent tables circa 1910, Charles Allen Jones Of Down Hatherley Gloucestershire designed and manufactured this table as well as many other metamorphic items including his famous ladders, these tables known as B1 Pattern tables can be folded to be used as a folio stand book rest easel etc. The table can be completely folded when travelling or stored.
both tables are of the same size : one made of hard wood and the other made of soft wood. the hardwood one has intricate carving on the top surface the soft wood one has a ring make on top but not major ! both have a good colour and patina, the price reflects the condition of the tables.
