19Th Century Anglo Indian Table Cabinet.


A rare and rather splendid 19th century anglo Indian table cabinet made in the Indian provenance of Hoshiarpur in Punjab which is renowned for their superb and intricate inlay work circa 1880, the cabinet was probably originally used as apothecary cabinet. made from Indian hardwood inlaid with floral and scrolling foliate with ebony and ivory profusely decorated through out, with two draws at the base the top section open to unveil four large compartments with traditional Indian decoration, the four compartments lend them selfs well to house bottle of wine etc.
